Grown by a a farmer owned and governed cooperative called Busongora North Coffee Farmers' Cooperative that is over 500 families strong. The farmers are trained in agricultural practices, registered and assigned a unique identification number. This allows us to trace our coffee back to the farmlands it originated from and helps achieve good, quality beans.

Coffee is sorted and processed at wash stations, close in proximity to the farmers, in Kajole, Kithoma and Kaswa Parishes. After the initial drying process at the wash stations, it is then dry milled in Kasese, cupped and prepared to be exported. 

Not only is excellent coffee produced during this process, but the long term vision is to support a path to break generational poverty by educating growers to carry out sustainable, organic agricultural practices.
